Member Gathering at The Mill

Chapter members and friends got together for an informal social, food and festivities at The Mill in downtown Santa Barbara on April 30th.  It was a great opportunity to catch up on everything dressage, new horses, and life’s ups and downs. 

Bustling with customers, local brews, and wine the SB dressage chapter table was probably the most lively. Over a dozen of them, chattering with their arms and voices, enjoying the camaraderie and lovely outdoor venue with perfect evening weather.

Notable attendees included three new chapter members - Molly Paladino, Christine Dietrich and Susan Sullivan. Molly just moved in the day before and will help run Emerald Stables for Masha Felderhof of Twenty Four Carrots, and start up her horse therapy business Spirit Horse Collective.

Christine and Susan carpooled from up North and arrived bearing giant boxes of Kensington aromatherapy horse spa products from Christine. For us!

Chapter Chair Mary Couch was quick to earmark the generous donation for prizes at our Spring Dressage Show at Earl Warren. Musical chairs was the theme as chapter members exchanged seats around the table and we all had the opportunity to talk to everyone. We look forward to our next social event and welcome again to our new members!
