SB CDS Junior riders Juliet Bradley & Chloe Adrian-Giannetto qualified to participate in the 2024 Southern CDS Junior/ Young Rider Championship at Del Mar Horse Park. Here's what they shared about their experience.
It was our first time participating in the Championship at the Del Mar Horse Park this July and it was a great experience for both of us. There was an international party on Thursday evening and each barn was invited to participate by bringing food from different countries. It was a great and festive way to get the weekend started and it made a big show more familiar and welcoming. It was great to meet so many people who share the same love for horses and dressage as we do.

This show was an excellent opportunity to get the experience of championships without the pressure and to practice before the CDS and USDF regional championship this September. Show management held a Pizza party, which was another highlight, bringing the juniors and young riders together and allowing for a more social aspect of the sport. It was a fun opportunity to connect with other riders from California and create friendships that we can continue at other horse shows in the future.

Overall, it’s safe to say that we both had a great time, and we would definitely love to compete at another Junior championship in the future.
