Benefits of Membership in the California Dressage Society AND the Santa Barbara County Chapter

There are lots of reasons to join the California Dressage Society. Most members are active competitors, but even if you are not (yet!), your membership dollars work for the entire dressage community here in California to promote our sport and make it the best that it can be. A portion of your California Dressage Society membership fee goes directly to your local chapter (Santa Barbara County Chapter!) to help support our activities as well.

The California Dressage Society promotes education through clinics and lectures, competition through a wide variety of shows and awards programs, insurance for our events and charitable contributions to important organizations in our interest.

Your membership entitles you to participate in the Horse of the Year Competition, Junior/Young Rider Championships, Regional Adult Amateur Competitions, educational activities and seminars. You will also receive a variety of publications, such as "Dressage Letters", the CDS monthly news magazine and the CDS Omnibus.
